Found by birders making a speculative stop on the way back from the Spotted Sandpiper, perhaps?

I missed the reports earlier this month – good to hear that up to four Hawfinches are back at Mercer Way in Romsey (via Birdguides).

After a quiet start to the season, a report today of four Hawfinches at the regular Mercer Way site in Romsey (per BirdGuides).

As pondered last week, a Hawfinch appears to have returned to the regular spot in Romsey.

A miserable weekend, but Marsh Tit again around Cooks Lane – after a couple of years of hardly seeing them at all here, it’s good to see them around.
Too much rain to explore more widely, but on the plus side the pools at Fishlake Meadows should be filling up with water (and ducks) by now. [...]
